The fourth edition of the academy will commemorate the 100th anniversary of Giacomo Puccini&#8217;s death with a performance of the opera &#8220;Suor Angelica&#8221; and celebrate the 145th anniversary of the founding of the Bra\u0107a Baruh Choir with a concert as part of the European Days of Jewish Culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">One of the festival&#8217;s key goals is the development and enhancement of the professional skills of young opera artists in line with global standards. Njena pri\u010da osvetljava univerzalne teme maj\u010dinstva, gubitka i \u017eenske sudbine, nagla\u0161avaju\u0107i dru\u0161tvena o\u010dekivanja prema \u017eenama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Kroz emotivnu muziku, Pu\u010dini prikazuje An\u0111elikin svet ispunjen tugom i \u010de\u017enjom za sinom kojeg nikada nije videla. Prelomni trenutak nastupa kada joj tetka saop\u0161tava da je njen sin preminuo, \u0161to An\u0111eliku vodi ka tragi\u010dnoj odluci da sebi oduzme \u017eivot u nadi da \u0107e se u smrti ponovo ujediniti sa njim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Pri\u010da o magdalenskim ve\u0161ernicama, ustanovama gde su \u017eene suo\u010dene sa brutalnim posledicama dru\u0161tvenih normi, nagla\u0161ava kako su dru\u0161tveni pritisci oblikovali sudbine mnogih \u017eena. Veza izme\u0111u An\u0111elikinog slu\u010daja i tih \u017eena ukazuje na ve\u010diti sukob izme\u0111u slobode izbora i dru\u0161tvenih o\u010dekivanja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Iako sme\u0161tena u 17. vek, Pu\u010dinijeva drama odjekuje i danas, reflektuju\u0107i pritiske sa kojima se \u017eene suo\u010davaju u vezi s maj\u010dinstvom, karijerom i li\u010dnom slobodom.
