Singer
Aneta Ilić
soprano
Biography
She is one of Serbia’s leading vocal artists. She studied solo singing at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade (in the classes of Prof. Biserka Cvejić and Prof. Irina Arsikin), where she is now a full professor in the Department of Solo Singing. Recitals with piano form the core of her concert work, and as a soloist with orchestra she has appeared at nearly all the relevant festivals in the country, performing repertoire from the Baroque to contemporary music. Her operatic repertoire includes roles in operas by Baroque and pre-Classical composers, Mozart and 20th-century composers. Serbian music holds a special place in her repertoire – she has given the premieres of many works by Serbian composers, many of them written for her or for the chamber ensemble Donne di Belgrado, of which she is a member. She has made a large number of recordings for Radio Television of Serbia and for Dutch national radio.
